 What We Do

Brownfield Benefits

The Brownfield Revitalization Program (BRR) provided Ohio’s communities with the first significant investment of brownfield grant dollars since the end of the Clean Ohio Revitalization Fund (CORF) in 2013. This report examines the first two rounds of BRP grant awards and looks ahead to the future of these sites.

Legislative Testimony

GOPC has championed investment in brownfield redevelopment at the Ohio Statehouse for more than a decade. This has included regular appearances before the committees of the Ohio House of Representatives and Ohio Senate educating lawmakers on past and future remediation opportunities across Ohio.

Pending Legislation

As Ohio’s leading nonprofit advocate for investment in brownfields and changes to state law to ensure clean-up and redevelopment of brownfields are prioritized, GOPC workers with Ohio lawmakers to develop legislation and policy that provides the tools necessary to remediate brownfields statewide.
